Personal Training

Accountability is key! Working alongside a professional personal trainer makes you accountable, Extrafit’s 1-2-1 personal training sessions are tailored to your needs and goals, prioritising your safety, long term health benefits, and most importantly your enjoyment! Personal Training sessions can be completed at your own home, or our studio gym.

Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation

Whether it’s to maximise recovery from training, recover from soft tissue injury or to address muscle aches resulting from day to day life, Extrafit combines sports massage therapy with appropriate strengthening and mobility exercises to optimise benefit. Each session includes manual therapy and an exercise program prescription.

Extrafit Health Packages

Extrafit Health Screening & Fitness Assessments packages are available for everybody who is interested in their general overall health, and especially to elite athletes seeking to improve their performance. So whether you’re an athlete or an individual focussing on weight loss and general fitness, our studio gym is equipped with cardiovascular machines, free weight training equipment, a TRX suspension trainer, fitballs and a boxercise kit.

Our facilitates are equipped with a wide range of high specification equipment, offering full battery of health and fitness tests. Possible tests include lung function spirometry, body composition and capillary blood testing for glucose, cholesterol profile, lactate, haemoglobin, haematocrit and pre-diabetes screening (HbA1C).

In 2004 Tim hit his personal best at the Abingdon marathon.

Following a structured 9 month program and training consistently 3 times a week, he achieved his goal of sub 3 hours, (and was under by over 7 mins!) Athletically it’s one of Tim’s proudest achievements.
